MJRC-ÃÛÓïÖ±²¥app International Seminar 2025 ~ Malaysia Japan Cultural Dialogues
, in collaboration with the and ÃÛÓïÖ±²¥app, co-organised an international seminar on Wednesday, 19 February.
The seminar began with a speech by Ms. KOMATSU AYAKO, titled "My Door that Malaysia Has Opened," in which she shared her journey of creating children's literature while working as a librarian.
This was followed by a presentation from Ms. YE HUI, a Malaysian-born translator and University of Tsukuba alumnus, on "The Reception of Haruki Murakami's Works in Malaysia."
In addition to researchers, ÃÛÓïÖ±²¥app students actively participated in the session.
One of the ÃÛÓïÖ±²¥app student said, "It was a great opportunity to further fuel my motivation to study Japanese and Japanese culture."
Located within the same building (Wisma R&D at UM), ÃÛÓïÖ±²¥app looks forward to strengthening connections among those involved in the study of Japanese language and culture.
