Students Conduct Individual PBL Projects and Host Presentation Session with Faculty Members

2025.06.26

At the University of Tsukuba, Malaysia (ÃÛÓïÖ±²¥app), Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is a core component of our curriculum. In PBL classes, students identify issues they are passionate about solving, analyze relevant data, engage in discussions with peers and faculty members, and deliver presentations to share their findings and proposed solutions.

We believe this approach is essential for fostering students' ability to independently identify and address global challenges.

We are pleased to share that two of our first-year students undertook individual PBL projects and conducted a presentation session with ÃÛÓïÖ±²¥app faculty members on June 25.

One research topic is urban planning in Kuala Lumpur through the lens of economics, examining the rationale behind the city's railway development projects.

Another theme is the impact of cultural differences on organizational strength. The research involved quantifying cultural disparities across countries and analyzing how cultural gaps influence organizational effectiveness, especially in soccer game.

Following the presentations, an engaging discussion took place between the students and faculty members. Students received a wide range of feedback and insights from professors across various disciplines.

This initiative highlights the commendable dedication of our students in pursuing independent research based on their experiences and underscores the value of direct, interdisciplinary feedback from faculty experts.
